The healing system of Reiki was rediscovered and further developed in the early 1900s by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui — a well-known and respected healer in Kyoto and Tokyo. Reiki Jin Kei Do™ integrates meditation and inner wisdom, healing with compassion, and the integration of healing and meditation into daily life.
The First Degree training provides a comprehensive foundation in Reiki practice, covering both the history and hands-on healing techniques.

Reiki Subeteno Kiku
Level 2 Certification
Full Day
Second Degree Reiki is a stronger vibrational energy than First Degree. Where First Degree is a warm, gentle energy radiating from the entire hand, Second Degree is an intense source of energy that "shoots" from the palm chakra and "magic sword" fingers. This level enhances intuitive powers and provides methods for helping others with emotional or mental issues.
Two Energy Attunements
Raise the vibration of the crown and palm chakras to access deeper healing energy.
Three Sacred Symbols
Learn and practice the three sacred Reiki symbols central to Second Degree practice.
Distant Healing
Learn absentia healing — the ability to send Reiki energy across time and space.
Laying-Down Protocol
Learn a full laying-down treatment protocol for deeper, more comprehensive sessions.
The training also includes deeper concepts of meditation and Qigong, helping others in their healing process, and developing the responsibilities of becoming a Reiki practitioner.

02
Receive a full body treatment to prepare the body-energy field for the empowerment.
03
Learn the Master symbol and receive Master Empowerment.

During the integration period, the student shall write an essay on what it means to become a Reiki Master, including personal motivation and roles and responsibilities. Symbols must be thoroughly memorized and meditated upon.
Stage 2 — Apprenticeship (~1 Year)
Student and Instructor meet for two days to discuss the essay, cleansing process, and review breathing techniques and symbols.
Student demonstrates seated chair treatment and gives Instructor a lying-down Reiki treatment to demonstrate competency.
Student organizes a First Degree Reiki class with a minimum of four new students. Instructor observes, evaluates, and co-teaches. Instructor receives half of gross income.
After teaching at least one First Degree class, a second training prepares the student to present a Second Degree class — same co-teaching and evaluation process applies.
After at least one year of supervised training and teaching both levels, the final stage begins — preparing the student to evaluate and mentor their own Mastership candidates.
Even if you have previous training in other Reiki lineages, to learn Reiki Jin Kei Do you are required to start at Reiki Level I — no exceptions.
